Home / Guides
A tour is only ever as good as the person leading it. Ours are local, speak real English, and take small groups only — here's what that means in practice.
Our guides grew up among these peaks. They know which village grandmother cooks the best smoked pork, where the light falls at 5 pm, and what the rice is doing this week.
Not a memorised script — guides who can explain karst geology, translate a Buyi family's dinner-table stories, and argue about your football team on the ride back.
No flags, no megaphones, no waiting for stragglers at the bus. Every tour is private or near-private, and the day flexes around you.
We're a new operation and picky about who wears the badge: we're finalising our founding guide team right now, route-testing with each of them before they ever meet a guest. Their faces, stories and favourite noodle shops will appear here shortly.
Booked a tour in the meantime? You'll get your guide's name, photo and a short intro by email before the day — no strangers at the pick-up point.
Visiting Xingyi for business, a factory or supplier visit, a medical appointment, or anything beyond sightseeing? Our English-speaking team also works as personal interpreters and local fixers — meetings, paperwork, phone calls, getting things done. Tell us what you need and when, and we'll quote you a day or half-day rate.
We're building Xingyi's first English-language tour team, and we'd love to meet you. Freelance-friendly, training and route SOPs provided, fair per-tour pay, and guests who are genuinely excited to be here.
如果你是兴义本地人、英语能日常交流、熟悉万峰林周边,欢迎加入我们——自由职业可、提供培训和带团流程、按单计酬。填个 3 分钟的报名表,我们会约你聊聊。
