Paying us

How it works

1. You email us with your dates and what you are after.
2. We check it is actually free and reply, usually the same day.
3. We send you an itemised invoice — every line spelled out, so you can see exactly what you are paying for.
4. You pay it, by whichever of the methods below suits you.

What things cost

Xingyi transfer — US$20. Met at the airport or the railway station, driven to your hotel, and we stay until you are checked in. The same in reverse on the day you leave.

Wanfenglin transfer & bike hire — US$50. We collect you from your hotel, drive you out to the valley, arrange and pay for the buggy or bikes (child seat and child helmet included if you need them), and deal with the rental shop in Chinese. Then we leave you to it — no guide follows you around. Message us when you are ready and we come and get you.

Anything else — more people, several days, an unusual pick-up — we quote by email, and that quote is what goes on the invoice.

Ways to pay

• Card, Apple Pay or Link — straight from the invoice we email you. This is the simplest option and works from anywhere. Handled by Stripe; your card number never reaches us.
• WeChat Pay or Alipay — if you already have one of them set up, say the word and we will arrange it.

We do not take cash.

If you pay by card, the charge shows on your statement as VISIT XINGYI and Stripe emails you a receipt. Depending on where your bank is, you may be shown the amount in your own currency — that is normal, and the total is the same.

If something changes

Weather turns, a train is cancelled, a child is unwell — tell us and we move the day or refund you. We are not going to hold you to a date you cannot use. Write to hello@visitxingyi.com, or message us:
